Overview
Tong Hua holds two master’s degrees obtained from a joint program between Singapore University of Technology and Design and Chang Gung University, specialising in nano-electronic engineering and design. His thesis focused on the fabrication of Gallium Arsenide based lasers.
Tong Hua also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Newcastle University where he graduated with First Class Honours. His Final Year Project work on density reduction of deep level traps in InGaN LED won him an award in an industrial innovation competition.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Tong Hua was a Research Assistant at the Singapore University of Technology & Design. In this role, he was actively involved in the fabrication of laser devices and vertical integration of semiconductor chips using wafer bonding techniques. At Spruson & Ferguson, Tong Hua is mainly involved in the drafting and prosecution of both local and overseas patent applications.
