We are pleased to announce that Spruson & Ferguson has been recognised in the 2019 edition of the World Trademark Review 1000 for several countries across the Asia-Pacific. Australia is ranked highly for Enforcement & Litigation, whilst Thailand and Hong Kong’s highly recommended ranking for Prosecution & Strategy are a testament to the firm’s “top-class trademark services throughout Asia.”

According to the World Trademark Review (the Review), Spruson & Ferguson has become “the most prolific filer of trademarks in Australia” after last year’s merger with Brisbane based firms Fisher Adams Kelly Callinans and Cullens.

Known for our leading intellectual property services across the Asia-Pacific, the Review states that “the firm excels in cost efficiency, reliability and responsiveness; all of which are the order of the day in Hong Kong” and mentions our direct filing capabilities in China. The Review also commends the Thai office team for how the firm manages portfolios with ultra-efficiency. “Enforcement and licensing mandates fall within the Thai group’s purview and it does a first-rate job on them.”

“Spruson & Ferguson maintains a network of seven offices in the region, with outposts in China, throughout Southeast Asia and Australia. Stationed across them is a contingent of some 120 IP professionals who collectively cover every facet of trademark practice.”

A number of Spruson & Ferguson practitioners have also been individually ranked and recognised in the Review.

The WTR 1000 research directory ranks on outstanding trademark practices and practitioners through extensive research worldwide. Over the years it has established itself as the prominent ‘go-to’ resource for those seeking world-class legal trademark expertise.
