Overview

Yuchen completed a PhD in chemical engineering at the University of New South Wales in 2016 focusing on aluminium electrolysis. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate for 5 years with research interests in chemical engineering process modelling, monitoring, control and data-based approaches. During his study and work, Yuchen applied for two patents based on his research and grew an interest in IP. He is now working at Spruson & Ferguson as a Patent Scientist in our Chemical & Life Sciences team.

Yuchen is a member of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, Institute of Engineers Australia and an associate member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
