Overview
Ling Sze graduated from Monash University with a PhD degree specializing in Medical Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) specializing in Medical Bioscience. Her PhD dissertation focused on bioprocessing L-asparaginase from fungal endophytes for its anticancer effect and her work was published in several peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented at multiple international academic conferences and has been awarded the best oral presenter.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson (Asia), Ling Sze was a Research Scientist in a cultivated meat company where she leveraged her technical skills of protein bioprocessing to formulate suitable culture media for the isolation, proliferation and differentiation of crustacean stem cells.
