Overview
Tatiana holds a specialist degree in Information Security from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (State University) majoring in Cryptography and Discrete Mathematics. Her research thesis focused on analysis of properties of cryptographic hash function Hamsi, a candidate for SHA-3 standard.
Tatiana joined Spruson & Ferguson from Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CISRA) where she held the position of in-house patent attorney. At her time at CISRA, Tatiana gained experience in prosecuting and drafting patent specifications in various fields, including image rendering, image processing, medical imaging, 3D printing, material appearance and 3D image synthesis. Prior to this Tatiana worked as an Intellectual Property Counsel for Kaspersky Lab where she drafted patent specifications for Kaspersky Lab’s cyber security products. Tatiana also spent 2.5 years working as a software engineer for a commercial bank and an insurance company.
Tatiana is a registered Australian and New Zealand Patent Attorney and Australian Trade Mark Attorney. Tatiana assists both local and international clients with drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Australian and New Zealand across a broad range of fields including software and computing, telecommunications, solar power systems, image processing and blockchain technologies.
