Taryn has acted in contentious intellectual property law matters including proceedings concerning trade marks, copyright, patents, designs, breach of confidence, misleading or deceptive conduct, passing off and breach of contract. Her practice also includes non-contentious commercial and intellectual property law matters. She has experience in drafting a range of commercial and intellectual property agreements including intellectual property licences and assignments, confidentiality agreements, terms and conditions, privacy policies and software development agreements.
Taryn’s practice focuses on a broad range of technologies and industries, including information technology, healthcare, food and beverage, financial services, building and construction, fashion and consumer products. She acts for Australian, foreign and multinational clients.
Taryn has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne, and is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ) and Licensing Executives Society Australia and New Zealand (LESANZ).
