Overview
Steven is a Trade Mark Practitioner in the Trade Marks team.
He recently graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney and is currently completing a Graduate of Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law.
Prior to joining Spruson and Ferguson, Steven worked as a trade mark Examiner at IP Australia where he gained valuable knowledge and an interest in trade marks and intellectual property law more broadly. Steven also briefly worked with the legal team at Football NSW and also has gained some experience in administrative law from his time volunteering at a boutique migration agency.
At IP Australia, Steven was involved in various business and community engagement projects which included running and presenting a series web-seminars. In his role at Spruson and Ferguson, Steven continues to build relations with and assist people and organisations both internationally and locally, across a broad range of industries. In particular Steven has experience assisting clients with trade mark prosecution and opposition matters as well as IP portfolio management.
