Sara specialises in Chinese intellectual property, with a focus on procedural matters related to patent prosecution and litigation. With her comprehensive view of legal provisions and extensive experience in Chinese patent practice, Sara is proficient in advising on procedural matters related to patent cases. Her working experience covers patent services in China which involve patent filing strategy, security clearance, registration of technology transfer agreement, recordal of license agreement and appeal procedures.
Sara joined Spruson & Ferguson in 2019. Prior to that, she worked at several leading intellectual property law firms in Beijing. Sara received a master degree of laws in intellectual property from Renmin University of China and a bachelor degree of environmental engineering from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
