Overview
Riya is a Trade Mark Practitioner working in Spruson & Ferguson’s Sydney team.
She is experienced in advising clients on trade mark prosecution matters for Australian and New Zealand trade marks. She also represents clients in trade mark disputes and other related matters.
Riya has previously worked for a research and development corporation where she gained valuable experience in the management of IP portfolios and in the transfer and commercialisation of IP.
Riya developed her interest in intellectual property when she worked at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand. She is also an enrolled barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
