Overview
Nicollette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws from the Manchester Metropolitan University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from the University of Hong Kong and a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Nicollette has worked in one of the largest global conglomerates and was in charge of its worldwide trade mark portfolio (except China) and online brand protection matters. She has also worked in various intellectual property firms handling intellectual property matters in various jurisdictions, with a focus in Hong Kong and China. Through her unique experience, she has gained insights from the perspective of a brand owner, a legal practitioner, and an e-commerce platform.
Nicollette has been working in the intellectual property field since she graduated from the University of Hong Kong. She has experience in a full spectrum of trade mark matters worldwide, both contentious and non-contentious, including clearance, portfolio management, registration, prosecution, assignment, licensing, oppositions, revocation, invalidation and enforcement (both online and offline). She also has experience in domain name and copyright matters.
