Overview
Michael Adrian Gabriel graduated from Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manaoag (formerly known as Our Lady of Manaoag College) with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with awards. In recognition of his academic achievements, Michael received full-time scholarships at all levels of his education.
In 2009, Michael worked in an Intellectual Property Firm where he was Assistant Manager of Patents and Network System Administrator as well. As an Assistant Manager of Patents, he also served as project leader of some of the biggest portfolio of the firm. His passion in matters of intellectual property is evidenced by his participation in several seminars.
Before joining Spruson & Ferguson (Philippines) Inc., Michael was a Patent Executive at another IP FIrm. His responsibilities included the management of Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and India intellectual property portfolios. Michael has considerable experience in various aspects of patent and design practices in the Philippines and across the ASEAN region.
At Spruson & Ferguson (Philippines) Inc., Michael is involved in prosecuting patent and design applications, and he also provides opinion of patentability and infringement issues.
