Overview
Lan Pham is an Associate in Spruson & Ferguson’s trade marks team.
She is responsible for all aspects of trade mark matters including availability searches, prosecution, and contentious matters.
Lan is experienced in providing strategic trade mark advice from brand development and filing programs, through to prosecution, enforcement and maintenance of local and international trade mark portfolios. Lan is also experienced in managing trade mark and copyright portfolios with the Australian and New Zealand Customs and Border Protection Services.
Lan assists clients across a diverse range of industries including fashion and apparel, food and beverages, wine, FMCG, entertainment and ICT.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Lan worked as a Trade Mark Attorney at an IP Advisory firm where she managed the trade mark portfolio of one of Australia’s largest wine producers and one of Australia’s largest and most innovative automotive accessories companies. She has also held positions at a top tier Intellectual Property firm, and a role with one of Australia’s preeminent Indigenous lawyers.
Lan has a background in the fashion industry where she worked for some of Australia’s most well-known fashion labels.
Lan holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice. She was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2017.
Lan is a member of The Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA) and The Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ).
