Overview

Jingxi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, with research experience in organic chemistry, biological chemistry, microbiology, material engineering and biomedical engineering. During his undergraduate studies for a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), his research work involved transition metal catalysis and the development of catalytic methodologies for the synthesis of carbohydrates and their derivatives. When pursuing his PhD degree, he shifted his research focus to chemical biology and biomedical engineering, with his PhD thesis on the synthesis of biomacromolecular materials for antibacterial applications. His rich experience in research is well recognised with more than ten authored or co-authored research publications and one patent publication. His practice covers the drafting and prosecution in the fields of organic chemistry, biological chemistry, pharmaceuticals and materials.
