Overview

Guy Tucker practises predominantly in the fields of electrical/computer engineering. As a patent attorney, Guy has had extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Australia, the United States, Europe and Asia for a wide range of clients.

Guy holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with First Class Honours in Electronic Engineering, specialising in Optoelectronics. He also brings considerable industry experience to his practice. After an initial career in the TV & Audio and alarm industries, Guy worked for 5 years in the semiconductor industry where he installed and maintained PVD processing equipment and later focused on researching new processing methods.

Guy is a European and UK qualified patent attorney and has seven years experience working for a leading London firm of patent and trade mark attorneys as well as six years experience working for a New Zealand firm of patent and trade mark attorneys. He joined Spruson & Ferguson in August 2012.
