Overview
Goragot is a Patent scientist in Spruson & Ferguson’s Thailand office. Her technical background is in polymer, biopolymer, and natural composite materials. Goragot graduated bachelor’s degree in Petrochemical and Polymeric Material Engineering from Silpakorn University, as well as Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. Her Doctoral dissertation focused on natural rubber composite reinforced with cellulose fiber and enhanced antibacterial efficiency by silver nanoparticles.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Goragot worked as Process Engineering at Labtech engineering company LTD. She gained knowledge in tools for polymer processing. After that, she worked as a research assistant at National Nanotechnology Center (Nanotec), the government organization under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). She also has experience in nanotechnology application such as the preparation for nanoparticle by using nanoprecipitation technique. Moreover, she has skill for bacterial testing. For patent, she has experience in preparing documents for drafting patent in the fields of polymer, nanomaterial, and natural product.
