Overview
Francesca Colubriale is a Principal in Spruson & Ferguson’s trade marks and litigation teams.
As Principal in the firm’s trade marks practice, Francesca is responsible for all aspects of trade mark matters including brand clearance, prosecution, contentious matters and portfolio management for local and foreign clients.
She advises on IP infringement matters (including trade marks and copyright) and breaches of the Australian Consumer Law.
Francesca has carriage of trade mark opposition matters from pre-filing steps and advice through to preparing evidence, handling settlement negotiations and appearing at hearings before the Trade Marks Office.
Francesca holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) from the University of Technology, Sydney. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2002.
Francesca is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
