Overview
Cindy graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore (NUS). During her undergraduate studies, she completed a Joint Minor in Environmental Chemistry from NUS and University of Toronto. She further pursued her postgraduate education at NUS in environmental and analytical chemistry. Her PhD thesis focused on the analysis of environmental pollutants, such as per and polyfluorinated alkyl substances, and their effects in the environment and microorganisms.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Cindy worked as a global marketing executive, in Shimadzu Corporation, an analytical instrument company, specializing in analytical and measuring instruments, such as chromatography and mass spectrometry. She was also a senior policy executive in the National Environment Agency, Singapore where she worked on policies and strategies concerning environmental protection, chemical control and resource conservation.
