Overview
Candice is a trade mark practitioner working in Spruson & Ferguson’s Brisbane team.
She is experienced in advising clients on trade mark portfolio strategy, and provides value through her expertise in Australian and New Zealand trade marks. She also conducts conflict checks and due diligence, represents clients in trade mark disputes including oppositions and non-use proceedings, and prepares evidence for filing in trade mark disputes or related matters.
Candice also has in-house experience in other areas of intellectual property protection, including patent claims and renewals, and drafting research memos for copyright and designs.
Aside from her work in Australia and New Zealand trade marks, she has advised clients on trade mark practice in other jurisdictions including International (Madrid Protocol) Registrations. During her studies she spent significant time across Asia, including in China, Japan and South Korea.
