Spruson & Ferguson is pleased to announce that we have further strengthened our regional capability and IP service offering with the opening today of an office in Bangkok, Thailand.
Spruson & Ferguson’s Thailand office will provide patent and trade mark attorney services, as well as all other intellectual property services, in Thailand and the Mekong region (Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia). The team will also assist on trade mark matters across South East Asia.
The office will be overseen by respected IP lawyer, Daniel Greif, who has recently joined Spruson & Ferguson (Asia) as a Principal.
Dan specialises in all aspects of trade mark law representing a wide variety of major global brand owners and SMEs on trade mark matters in Thailand and South East Asia. During his career Dan has worked for some of the world’s largest brands, including as in-house international trade mark counsel for The Coca-Cola Company and senior trade mark counsel for Sony Corporation.
The Spruson & Ferguson IP team in Thailand will also include other award-winning IP lawyers and other legal professionals, who have transferred to the firm as part of an agreement with Siam Premier, a leading Bangkok law firm. Spruson & Ferguson Thailand will also be able to draw on Siam Premier’s litigation capabilities, where required.
