Spruson & Ferguson opens new office in Manila, now 10 offices across Asia Pacific

Spruson & Ferguson has announced the opening of its new office in Manila, Philippines.

The new office will mark the 10th office for Spruson & Ferguson across the Asia Pacific region, and the 7th in Asia. This latest office expansion follows the 25th year of Spruson & Ferguson’s presence in Asia since first opening its doors in Singapore in 1997, following the introduction of the Singapore Patents Act.

As part of the IPH Group, Spruson & Ferguson clients have access to a network of practice regions across ten Intellectual Property (IP) jurisdictions globally. The IPH Group’s international presence is also enhanced with the opening of the new Manila office.

Kristian Robinson, Managing Director of Spruson & Ferguson Asia, said: “The opening of the Manila office is an exciting step in Spruson & Ferguson’s continued growth across Asia.

“We are a well-established IP firm with a strong local team based in Asia and are pleased to further expand our service offering and local connections to clients through a physical presence in the Philippines.

“25 years on, the firm continues its strong momentum in the region, delivering consistent organic growth, and an even stronger network in Asia,” he said.

The IP market in Asia continues to evolve with the increase of external service providers.

Through continued growth across Asia, Spruson & Ferguson is uniquely positioned to service its clients by centralising the IP process, enabling the support of clients from start to finish across the Asia Pacific region.

The Manila-based team is operational and will open the doors to its new premises in July 2023.
