Overview

Ee Lin holds a Bachelor of Technology degree with First Class Honours in Biotechnology from the University of Auckland, where, during the course of her studies, she was engaged in short term research projects in molecular biology as well as in the brewing industry. She was also subsequently awarded a PhD for her thesis on the use of enzymes in the synthesis of palm-based surfactants.

As a scientist attached to an industrial R&D institution prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson (Asia), Ee Lin not only conducted further R&D work in the areas of enzyme and fermentation technology but was also involved in coordinating technical, commercial and legal aspects of biotechnology research projects.

At Spruson & Ferguson (Asia), Ee Lin is involved in the preparation, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, as well as patent revocation and infringement actions in Singapore, Malaysia and throughout the South East Asia region.
