Tony Ho obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the City University of Hong Kong in 2000. He graduated from the National Institute of Applied Science (INSA) in France in 2006 with a Master of Engineering Physics and was awarded a Master of Law in Intellectual Property from the East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai, in 2014.
Before joining Spruson and Ferguson in 2017, Tony worked for two multinational semiconductor companies in France and Italy. He also conducted research in air purification system for which he registered several patents in both China and the United States. Later on, Tony worked in a Hong Kong Intellectual Property agency before joining an IP firm in Beijing, where he advised clients on patent matters for five years.
Tony is a qualified China Patent Attorney. His practice involves patent services in material science, semiconductor device and manufacturing, optoelectronics and electronic packaging; as well as advice on patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination, prior-art search and patent portfolio management.
Tony speaks English, Chinese, Cantonese and French.
