Overview
Thivinia specialises in trademark filing, trademark prosecution including clearance searches, office actions and opposition proceedings, trademark maintenance, and general advisory work in Malaysia. She graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons, Second Upper) and thereafter completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP), a requirement to qualify to practice as an Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia.
Prior to joining the firm, Thivinia also served as a Trademark Executive in one of the prominent IP firms in Malaysia where she gained valuable knowledge and experience in trademark practice. She is fluent in English, Malay and Tamil, and speaks a little Hindi.
