Overview

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with first class honours at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne. She is familiar with the underlying principles of mechanical systems and their development.

Before joining the firm Sarah worked for an Australian owned design house based in China where she developed an understanding of the various issues that arise in the process that takes a concept from an idea, through design, development and manufacture, and on through to successful commercialisation.

Sarah’s practice area is in the mechanical engineering group. Her day to day tasks involve prosecuting local and foreign patent, trade mark and design applications; providing intellectual property advice on patentability and infringement; and, performing patent, trade mark and design searches.

Sarah is a Member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ) and a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA).
