Sarah is an intellectual property lawyer and trade marks attorney in our Melbourne office. With a passion for creativity and innovation, and a strong understanding of how intellectual property matters fit into a broader commercial context, Sarah loves helping her clients protect and commercialise their intellectual property assets.
Sarah is experienced in all aspects of trade mark matters and brand protection, including clearances, prosecution, opposition proceedings, enforcement, and disputes. She assists local and international clients across a range of industries including the arts, architecture and construction, cosmetics, fashion, food and beverage, FMCG and retail, and media and communications.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Sarah worked at a leading Australian boutique firm where she managed the trade mark portfolios for one of Australia’s most prominent retail groups, a number of well-known fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, a leading Melbourne restaurant & hospitality group, and the Australian arm of one of the southern hemisphere’s largest construction companies.
Sarah is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
