Overview
Si Yun completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with First Class Honours from Monash University, Melbourne. She worked as a research assistant in several neuroscience research laboratories in Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore before completing her PhD at the National University of Singapore. The focus of her PhD thesis was the role of forebrain peptidergic neurotransmission in pain circuits.
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Si Yun worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory. Her research focused on the identification of genetic programs in developmental neuronal pruning and the development of behavioural models in fruit flies.
