Mark has more than 25 years of patent and trade mark experience specialising in general engineering, defence technology, medical devices, electronics, information technology, fibre optics, applied laser technology, nanotechnology and physical chemistry.
Mark’s experience includes Post-Doctoral and professional work at the University of New South Wales and the University of Queensland. Mark spent two years as a Research Scientist with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation before specialising in Intellectual Property protection and bringing that capability to Fisher Adams Kelly Callinans (now Spruson & Ferguson) in 1993.
Never content with the status quo, Mark brings a sharp strategic focus to his role. He is able to deliver an abundance of real world practical advice, informed by his professional experience gained in university and research roles. Deeply committed to successful commercial outcomes for his clients, he takes the necessary time to understand the possibilities and provide clear and incisive recommendations.
Mark is a former Board Member of the Licensing Executives Society International and a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia.
