Faran is a recent Queensland University of Technology graduate, where she completed her Bachelors degree in Medical Engineering.
During her studies, Faran gained industry experience through numerous work placements. Most notably, Faran completed a placement at the Innovative Cardiovascular Engineering Technology Laboratory at the Prince Charles Hospital, where she further developed her knowledge of Medical Devices and mechanical systems. Her final year thesis saw her developing a MATLAB script to assist Optometrists in calculating the effects of Mini Scleral contact lens wear on the scleral tissue thickness prior to using the lenses on patients.
Faran is currently studying to become a registered Patent Attorney.
