Elizabeth-Erin is an intellectual property lawyer with over two years post-admission experience in both trade mark and patent infringement contentious disputes.  Elizabeth-Erin holds a science degree with a major in biochemistry and molecular biology, including advanced immunology and developmental neurobiology, which assists in providing insightful advice on complex matters in the pharmaceutical and biosimilar industries. 

Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson Lawyers, Elizabeth-Erin practised as a lawyer in intellectual property disputes in a national law firm in Sydney.  Elizabeth-Erin has acted for a major pharmaceutical company in relation to patent infringement proceedings as part of concurrent international proceedings at both the trial and appellate level. Elizabeth-Erin has also acted in proceedings for an international brand concerning trade mark infringement in the fashion industry.

During her university studies, Elizabeth-Erin worked overseas in a criminal law firm in Ireland and at Citizens Advice (a non-profit community advice centre) in the United Kingdom.  Elizabeth-Erin experience also includes working at the Queensland Coroners Court where she attended pre-inquest conferences with Counsel Assisting the Coroner and assisted in preparation of published Non-Inquest Findings.
