Overview
Wei Yang holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honours in Materials Science and Engineering from National University of Singapore. His research focused on photoelectrochemical water splitting devices for solar hydrogen conversion, where he fabricated photoelectrodes comprising 2D-microstructured inorganic semiconductor and functional nanocomposites, and studied their electronic properties for greater conversion efficiency and durability. His research also involved in developing a redox flow electrochromic window, that is, a new electrochromic window design based on the working mechanism of a redox flow battery system. During his postgraduate education, he obtained his graduated certificate in Management of Technology where he was trained in R&D management, technological innovation management and new product development.
At Spruson & Ferguson, Wei Yang is mainly involved in the drafting and prosecution of patents in the field of Engineering, and Information and Communication Technology.
