Based in Spruson & Ferguson’s Indonesia patent team, Arif supports the protection of complex technologies through detailed technical and legal analysis.
In 2021, Arif received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from The University of Jenderal Soedirman, where his academic work focused on microbiology and the study and application of natural compounds. Arif worked in the healthcare sector as a Laboratory Analyst Team Leader, where he managed PCR workflows and molecular diagnostic testing, overseeing laboratory operations, data management, and team coordination to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in high-throughput laboratory environments.
Arif subsequently built his research expertise in the industrial sector as a Microbiology Researcher in the palm oil industry, contributing to the development of innovative microbial technologies, product innovation, and process optimisation, while conducting data-driven evaluations of biofertilisers to support product performance and commercial outcomes
Arif is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, enabling him to work effectively across regional and international teams.
