Overview

Andrew is a Registered Australian and New Zealand Patent Attorney and a Registered Australian Trade Mark Attorney. Andrew assists and works with local, international and multi-national clients across a variety of engineering industries. Such industries include the automotive, aerospace, consumer product and medical industries. Andrew has experience in prosecuting patent applications in Australia and New Zealand and provides advice on patentability, patent validity and patent infringement. Andrew also files design applications and provides advice across an array of technology areas.

Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson in 2015, Andrew worked at an acoustic engineering consultant with engineers on road and rail noise and vibration projects.

Andrew holds a Master of Intellectual Property from UTS and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from UNSW. His thesis at UNSW investigated the aero-acoustic properties of a CPX road noise trailer, which played a role in the design and development of the CPX trailer used by the acoustic engineering consultant in road noise testing.
