Spruson & Ferguson Principal Mark Horsburgh has been recognised by the Licensing Executives Society (LES) for service and leadership to LES International (LESI). Mark received the award during the LESI conference held in San Diego, USA in May 2018.
Mark joined LES Australia and New Zealand (LESANZ) in 1994 and has contributed significantly to the society holding various roles over the years from Trustee at Large and Regional Chair, to President. For LESI Mark was appointed Chair of the Patent and Technology Licencing Committee and Chair of the Meetings Committee. In addition Mark has been a LESI Board member and delegate.
Commenting on the award Mark Horsburgh said, “It is great to be recognised by LESI for my involvement over the years. I really enjoy LESI and believe that the society promotes excellent international opportunities for networking and contributes strongly to the development of the business of IP globally.”
Founded over 40 years ago the objective of the non-profit society is to encourage high professional standards among individuals engaged in the transfer and licencing of technology and industrial or intellectual property rights.
