As part of the Spruson & Ferguson’s team expansion, your new role of Intellectual Property Administrator (Renewals) will be based in our office in Manila, Philippines. Your role will include managing and executing the patent renewals, ensuring timely reminders, accurate filings, and client reporting. This role supports client communications, maintains system, and upholds compliance across jurisdictions.
Some key responsibilities of your role include:
- Monitor renewal deadlines and send timely reminders to clients
- Handle client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process renewal instructions in accordance with country-specific requirements
- Communicate renewal related official notifications to clients
- Prepare and send invoices to clients for services rendered
- Update client information and related correspondence in the practice management system
- Monitor outstanding work-in-progress items, daily/weekly reports and critical deadlines
- Dispatch original documents and certificates to designated recipients
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Skills & Experience
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline or at least one to two years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in an administration-related role.
- Experience in the Legal or Intellectual Property industry would be a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle timelines.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
