Tony Lin holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland and a Masters in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Melbourne. His final year project related to investigation of the performance of Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks. Tony has recently completed his Master of Intellectual Property at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Tony worked as an RF engineer at Huawei. He has also worked as a patent engineer at a number of patent firms in Australia and overseas, where he gained experience in drafting, prosecution and infringement and validity analysis across multiple technology fields. Tony specializes in electrical and electronics, mechanical, medical, optical/optoelectronics and ICT technologies.
