Natalia is a Senior Associate in Spruson & Ferguson’s new Melbourne office where she works as part of our Trade Marks team. Natalia represents public and private sector clients in a wide range of industries including FMCG, fashion, consumer technology, automotive, financial services, communications and health.
Natalia’s practice spans the full scope of trade mark and registered designs services. She undertakes prosecution and clearance work and represents market-leading brands in contested proceedings. Natalia advises clients in relation to risks arising under the laws of infringement, passing off and the Competition and Consumer Act in matters concerning trade marks, designs and copyright.
Natalia’s legal career prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson includes positions at top-tier Australian and international law firms and an Associateship to the Chief Judge of the Common Law division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Natalia holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University. She graduated in 2008 as recipient of the University Medal, the Supreme Court Prize for Best Honours Student and the Supreme Court Exhibition Prize for Best Honours Thesis. Natalia has also received the Pinkerton Scholarship for Trademarks and Unfair Competition and the Ray Hind Prize for Designs Law and Practice, both subjects undertaken at postgraduate level.
Natalia is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria,is a Registered Australian Trade Mark Attorney and a member of INTA and IPSANZ.
