Dr. Anna Goldys
Anna completed a Bachelor of Advanced Science at the University of Sydney, majoring in Chemistry, and graduated with First Class Honours and a University Medal in 2010. In 2015, Anna was awarded a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
After her studies, Anna undertook a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Sydney, and has also worked as an analytical chemist for the National Measurement Institute in Sydney.
Her main area of expertise is synthetic organic chemistry, however she also has experience in polymer chemistry, peptide synthesis and analytical chemistry. Anna has presented work at both local and international scientific conferences and her work has been published in a number of peer reviewed journals.
Anna assists local and international clients in prosecuting Australian and New Zealand patent applications, as well as assisting local clients in obtaining patent protection overseas. She also works with clients, particularly in the pharmaceutical space, on other aspects of Australian patent practice including drafting, patent term extension, validity opinions, and freedom to operate advice.
Anna is a qualified Australian and New Zealand Patent Attorney as well as a qualified Australian Trade Mark Attorney.
