Yosuke Tanaka graduated from Kyoto University in Japan with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, engaged in thin film fabrication. After graduation, he entered the patent profession by joining Philips Electronics Japan as a Patent Engineer. During his time with Philips, Yosuke translated patent specifications and attended to office actions from the Japan Patent Office across a wide field of technologies including semiconductor devices, displays, communication systems, networks and medical equipment.
In 2010, Yosuke moved to Singapore and successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law at the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, Yosuke worked for three years in another intellectual property law firm and assisted clients in patent filing and prosecution in Southeast Asian countries. Yosuke has assisted clients with responses to office actions in Singapore across several technology fields including lithographic devices and wafer dicing devices.
Yosuke has gained extensive experience in the patent practices of various jurisdictions across various technology fields in electronics engineering.
